"Nu Mu Sic is an atonal work in three short continuous movements of comparable length which bear the evocative titles "Nu," "Mu," and "Sic" respectively. The slow first and third movements correspond closely to each other musically, while the more animated central movement constitutes a kind of episodic development that alludes to the original material without literally repeating it.
