The Phantom Trumpet started life as an experimental atonal MIDI file. This version uses the sound samples of Myriad's Gold Base 2 instead of the original patches from my Roland M-GS64 sound module. This is the only one of my compositions which was meant only as purely electronic music.
As far as the "meaning" is concerned, I can't tell you except that a mute trumpet sample is prominently featured. For anything beyond that, it means just what you want it to mean!
